These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Lake Erie Transportation (LET) Dispatch Portal and any SMS communications sent by LET to truck drivers and carriers in connection with freight load assignments.

By providing your phone number and confirming consent to receive SMS messages from Lake Erie Transportation, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

SMS Messaging — Consent & Opt-In

Lake Erie Transportation sends SMS notifications exclusively to truck drivers and carriers who have provided consent for an active freight load. No SMS message is sent without confirmed consent on file.

The consent process works as follows:

All SMS messages sent by Lake Erie Transportation are operational in nature. Messages may include:

LET does not send marketing, promotional, or unsolicited messages. All messages identify Lake Erie Transportation as the sender.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of SMS messages from Lake Erie Transportation at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. No further messages will be sent unless you re-consent.

To re-subscribe, reply START to any message from Lake Erie Transportation.

Privacy

Lake Erie Transportation does not sell, rent, or share your phone number or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are used solely for operational dispatch communications.

Portal Use

The LET Dispatch Portal is an internal tool for use by authorized Lake Erie Transportation dispatchers and drivers only. Unauthorized access, use, or sharing of portal credentials is prohibited.

Lake Erie Transportation reserves the right to revoke portal access at any time without notice.

FMCSA Safety & Distracted Driving

In accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations and applicable federal and state laws, the use of a hand-held mobile telephone while operating a commercial motor vehicle is strictly prohibited.

By accessing the Lake Erie Transportation driver tracking portal, you acknowledge and agree that:

Lake Erie Transportation does not authorize, encourage, or condone the use of this portal by any driver while operating a vehicle.

Changes to These Terms

Lake Erie Transportation may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the portal or SMS communications after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
